As an entrepreneur, you will encounter hard times. It’s not a possibility, it’s inevitable. Whether it happens within your first couple of month or a few years down the track, it will happen and you should be prepared mentally, financially and emotionally.
It’s important to continue to surround yourself with inspiring and supporting messages and people and to reinforce to yourself on a daily (or multiple times daily) basis of your goals – what they are, how you’ll achieve them and what it’ll mean to you and your business to achieve them.
Write your goals in your own handwriting, record them and play them back in your own voice, recite them to yourself as you stare into your own eyes in the mirror starting. Engage yourself. Involve yourself. Engrain those goals into yourself so that everything you do is a step towards them.
And when times do get hard, keep your spirits high; keep your chin lifted and your goals ever closer. Be gentle on yourself and remember you’re doing something that so many are afraid to. You’re doing this for yourself, for a future, possibly, for the world. You have come this far and you’ll go much further, you just need to continue to believe in yourself and your capabilities.
You are capable of so much more than you give yourself credit for.
