Ladies, we know it’s confusing trying to decide what to do with your life when you’re still in school. Being asked to choose a path, what to study, what your career path will be 5, 10, 20 years from now, is not only impractical but also entirely confounding.
The good news though is that our age is not our grandparents’ age – you no longer have to choose what to do immediately after school, you no longer choose one career path and have to follow it until retirement.
We are in an age of possibility, one wherein we can change paths mid-career, go back to school to study something entirely different, follow passions instead of available jobs, if it doesn’t exist, we are now in a position to create it for ourselves.
We want you to test the waters, we want you to push boundaries, irk out a place for yourself, one that fulfills you and motivates you. We want you to try one industry out for size and if it doesn’t fit, try another and so we’re partnering with a variety of businesses to find you the internship or job opportunities to do just that.
We’ll post job and internship opportunities ourselves but we also want to hear from you to see what it is you want to do, where do you want to intern? What industries inspire you? Is there a person you’d love to shadow for a week?
