It doesn't matter if you're at a loss for what to do - you know you're not happy, you know you want change, you know you need to choose which path to take but you have no idea where to start and in the first instance it's often not just a simple choice of the road less travelled.
When designing a future without the benefit of a clear goal, consider the elements of life you cherish most - what do you hope your life will look like? Where will you be? Can you picture what you're doing? The scents and images you're immersed in?
What is it that you hope for? Even if the vision isn't crystal clear, the more you imagine it, the more you refine it, the better able you are to envision the end goal and the steps you need to take to achieve it-regardless of it's a career goal, a sporting achievement or just the simplicity of retiring to a small home along the coast where you can read Whitman and Fitzgerald without the distraction of work or the worry of finance.
Take your time, truly mold your vision because then-and only then- can you take steps towards achieving it.
